3 STEPS TO STAYING GROUNDED DURING CHAOS SC

             

With the recent events happening globally we know that it can affect you physically and emotionally. If you don’t have a self-care routine in place it can really mess with you and have you out of alignment. In our first post Chaos and Equilibrium, we discussed that organisms go through a never-ending cycle and of chaos and equilibrium. Everything happens for a reason and there is always something to be learned whether chaotic or calm. We may not be able to control what happens to us but we can control how we react to it. Below we will discuss the 3 major steps in staying grounded during the chaos.

 

 3 STEPS TO STAYING GROUNDED DURING CHAOS

 

  • Acknowledge The Situation: It’s important to acknowledge the circumstance that is happening. This doesn’t mean to see and forget it but to really have a grasp on why it’s happening.
  • Acknowledge Your Emotions: This is something that most overlook. When we say this we mean to fully express whatever you are feeling at that moment. There is no need to feel the pressure to “have together” because what you suppress will keep persisting in your own life.
  • Release Through a Creative Outlet: Disconnect from anything that does not feel in alignment. Find something you love to do. You don’t have to be a “professional” nor does it have to be a physical activity. Everything and anything can be creative.
