As we love learning concepts about consciousness and the mind, we found this fascinating! If you read our previous post Writing To Intuition here, The Lively Show dives into this topic. As mentioned in the title there are three stages of rational thinking.
The first stage of rational thinking is pre-rational thinking. In this stage, you are accepting a “truth” without thinking about it critically. An example of when this is utilized is when you are a toddler and your parents tell you something you assume that it is true because they are the authority.
The second stage of rational thinking is rational thinking. In this stage, you are accepting a “truth” that is backed up with logic and intellect. An example of when this is utilized is when you are in grade school trying to prove if life outside of Earth exists.
The final stage of rational thinking is trans-rational thinking. In this stage you are accepting a “truth” with logic and intuition because you are utilizing both logic and intuition you may not be able to explain it but only experience it. An example of those who experience this is those on a spiritual/personal development journey.
Lots of love,
