QUICK FIX

Quick Fix

Whether it is in magazines or Instagram some have become infatuated with being “successful”. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be “successful”, it’s  just when you are infatuated with the outcomes of “success” and forget to appreciate the process is where it can be detrimental. As a society, we have become addicted to finding the “quick fix” and never addressing the root of the problem. Some take pills to stop “symptoms” or drown their sorrow with alcohol and drugs. Addressing the problem forces us to be honest with ourselves which some do not want to come to terms with. As it can be tempting to find loopholes to skip the process, in the long term it is not sustainable.  A lot of the lessons and growth that are needed to become “successful” are learned through the process.  It won’t be glamorous or sexy but these lessons and growth allow us to learn how to handle different situations. When you think about the world leading thought leaders every single one of them has a story and obstacle they had to overcome in order to make their dream a reality. The process will not be linear, there will be breakthroughs and setbacks but all those experiences will help you become the person you want to be.

Lots of love,

Jasmine and Phrieda
